Film Production Support Gold Coast, Brisbane & Northern NSW
Artistic Sports Physiotherapy offers a specialised physiotherapy service tailored to the demands of the film production industry across the Gold Coast, Brisbane, and Northern New South Wales. We combine sports medicine with an understanding of the creative industries, providing your production company with professional, discreet care for actors, performers, and crew. With experience behind the scenes, we bring a high level of understanding and empathy for the physical artistry required in screen performance.
What is On-Set Physiotherapy for Film Production?
In the production environment, we collaborate closely with directors, stunt coordinators, producers, and other key members of the creative team to identify potential physical demands and risks associated with each role or scene. By understanding the movement requirements, rehearsal schedules, and performance conditions, we can proactively assess where injuries or performance limitations may arise. Whether your production is based in a Gold Coast studio, on location in Brisbane, or shooting in northern NSW, we can travel to support your team on set.
Preventative Care & Risk Management
Preventative strategies are designed to support body maintenace, movement efficiency, and overall wellbeing. This may include strength and conditioning programs, movement preparation, recovery protocols, hands-on physical therapy and on-set guidance tailored to the specific demands of the production.
A unique treatment we offer is vocal unloading, a treatment that has been used for professional vocalists and is equally valuable on set for actors carrying heavy dialogue loads, voice-over work, or demanding vocal performances across a long shoot day. It supports vocal recovery and helps prevent the fatigue and strain that come with repeated takes and long hours of projected or performed speech.
