Hypermobility & EDS
At Artistic Sports Physiotherapy, we offer specialised care for individuals with more than average mobility. This includes generalised joint hypermobility, connective tissue disorders and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). We understand the unique challenges these conditions present, and tailor our physiotherapy approach to support your needs.
With our strong background in treating hypermobile athletes, dancers, and gymnasts, we are uniquely positioned to provide expert care to the hypermobile community. We focus on controlled strengthening, neuromuscular training, and gentle conditioning to build resilience and body awareness. Working closely with each client allows us to develop an individualised program and treatment plan for you.
Our clinic is proud to provide a welcoming, safe, and respectful space for everyone. We celebrate diversity and are committed to inclusive care for people of all backgrounds. Whether you are part of the LGBTQIA+ community, neuro-divergent, or from a culturally diverse background, we treat you with dignity, understanding, and compassion.

With hypermobility & EDS, we understand the importance of a multidisciplinary approach and collaborate with other health professionals when needed to ensure comprehensive care. Physiotherapy assessment is part of the multidisciplinary assessment that helps with your diagnosis. There are many tests that determine which classification of hypermobility or connective tissue disorder you fit into, often requiring a specialist assessment.
Not sure if you are hypermobile? Begin HERE with some basic tests you can do at home. For more specific testing, please contact Artistic Sports Physiotherapy to book an appointment.
